ModernModern: a melting pot of different styles, that came in response to the structured style of ballet, which was very selective and made it harder for people who loved dance to dance professionally . there's more freedom of movement and dancers use their full body. Many things have been incorporated into modern, making it a unique and diverse style.

BachataBachata originated in Dominican Republic, both as a dance and type of music . Bachata is a guitar based rhythm The music was played by poor field laborers trying to bring community and life to the neighborhood. 40 years ago bachata was created but didn't hit mainstream until about 10 years ago when artists like Aventura first became quite popular. Today we have many artists arranging from Prince Royce to Jose Manuel Calderon one of the first bachata artists.
